Rainy Days

Hello! Long time no see.
We had kinda busy weekend which included a visit of a very good friend of mine who lives in Scotland; J's workmates party with some swimming, eating and dancing; a "pool" party with relatives in a artificial lake.

Now, unfortunately, the heatwave is over and it's back to "normal Finnish summer" aka +12,5C and pouring rain...

But the good thing is that you can relax with a good excuse and crawl into a warm bed if you don't feel like doing anything. Or you can do some projects which are untolerable during the heat. I did both of these things yesterday and today.

First I put on some Frankie...

...then I crawled into my cute sheets...

...and sipped some leftover coke from McDonald's. (Let's admit that I could've invested more to that drink aspect...)

Here's my "getting there" -balcony. It would still need a new bench and a bigger table but they are on the way.

At least I managed to get summer flowers on their pots and place them. I do love the way they look! <3

This project I bought on Saturday and finished building of it today. I've been wanting this drawers since the day I first laid eyes on it in Ikea and couple of days ago I found a great excuse to buy it! It's actually for my hubby and his minirefridge! Perfect!

And this was truly a project of eternity: to tidy up this shelf I bought for all the stuff laying around.

Now I think I've earned the rest of the day free. Perhapse I will read a little and then watch some movie with J.

Practical

Couple of days ago we went to see J's brother and his family. 'Cause it was beautiful and sunny day, I put on one of my favourite dresses and my gladiators.

On our way there J said that we were going to carry timber for his brothers new terrace. So there I was in my pretty summery dress and unpractical sandals...

I love the back of the dress. It's similar to the front which is nice. Especially when your hair is up.

And my lovesandals... <3 I don't know how long did I hunt the perfect pair of gladiatorsandals and finally I spotted them from a supermarket on sale. It was a great bargain!

Heat is on

Yesterday was truly a hot day! I spent couple of hours in the beach and got a massive headache from the sun. I really should find a hat for this summer...
In the evening we went to our friends and watched Spaceballs. -__-

Now we're off to our friends cabin! Maybe I will swim at last!

Summer is officially here

Hello!

It's officially summer! We went to the beach today and J even swam. I dipped my feet in the water but it was way too cold for me.
Afterwards we spent the evening in our balcony playing Scrabble (which I won). It was such a nice day! Tomorrow it should be something like +28C degrees. :)))

I started reading this wonderful book that tells about a family that spends a part of the year in Italy. It's written with witty sense of humour. I love it already!

I also managed to clean a pile of clothes from the bedroom floor. So now I can enjoy the warm summer day tommorrow with a clear conscience!

Dentist

Today I had the thing I've been horrified to do for a long time. I went to the dentist. I don't know why I've had this dentist-fear recently. Perhapse I was scared what they would say to me, e.g. how poorly I've been taking care of my teeth. And every time in checking they've found at least couple of cavities.. And it has been seven years since my last visit to the dentist...

But anyways, I went there today (finally) and they checked every tooth and took x-rays and stuff and it turned out that I didn't have any cavities! I'm so happy!

Now I'm going to prepare for the evening when we are going to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie! I can't wait to see two of my favourite actors, Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz in the same film! :)

New Appearance

I decided to change my blogs appearance because it was too wintery and not at all my style. So now I'd like to know what do you think about it?

I just realized that I have a blog! I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything for so long time... :(

So now I'll just spam some photos that I've taken recently. We've been barbecuing several times and in the beginning of May we went to Sweden on a cruise. Enjoy!

The last two photos are my purchases from Sweden. I love those turquoise earrings which cost about 3€ and that bag is totally my new favourite. It was 17€.

Oh, and there you can see also my new trench coat which I managed to find from Vero Moda and the price was 39,90€. I'm so happy I found the perfect coat. :) (Even thought now it starts to be a little bit too warm for it...)

Last week I participated on a "Uneton48" short film competition where your team has to make an 8-minute-short-film during 48 hours. This was 3rd time our team "Off Productions" participated. I'll tell more about the film and making of it after its premiere is over.
