I decided to do a little posting of my kitchen. It's the only room I can officially decorate as I wish. I'll just spam alot of details here. :) Enjoy!

I moved my bookshelf from livingroom to kitchen and now I have all my cookingbooks in it.






Something I recieved when buying two or three boxes of cerial which we didn't eat. Great deal! :D

Movie Lover

Hello Dear Readers!

I decided to write this post only in English, 'cause I don't have patience to write in two languages right now.. :D So I realized I have so many pictures that I haven't posted here and so many new things I've bought without telling you. I didn't take pictures of them yet, but I promise to do so soon.



Here's my clothing on last Saturday when we visited our friends.

By the way, I've realized that I have some kind of shopaholism. I don't spend much money or more than I can afford, but I buy little things almost every day. It's so great to get something cute or beautiful that makes me happy. But couple of days ago I made a promise to myself not to buy almost anything from now on.



Of course on the next day I broke the promise when we visited one flea market with my friend. I bought this jacket and one summertop.



But as my excuse, the jacket was Esprits and as good as new. And it's price was 4€! I couldn't believe my eyes. My next winter is rescued!



This morning I enjoyed the sunny weather and a tasty breakfast my hubby made for us.



On his way to work, J dropped me on the video renting place called Makuuni. There is this sale week when everything is 50% off. Perhapse I went a little crazy when I rented four films that has to be returned tomorrow..



I haven't seen any of these. I was planning on watching The Women now when I'm on my day off. And in the evening when J comes home we could watch Home of the Brave and Brothers. Yey! I just love movies so much, I guess I'm a bit addicted to them as well.

And finally couple of random facts.

And the book I'm reading. I liked Weisbergers "Everyone Worth Knowing" and ofcourse the movie "Devil Wears Prada". Therefor when I found this in the recycling center at 2,60€ I bought it without thinking more about it. And it is a good book! Easy to read and addicting. And of course - it has a green high heeled shoe on the cover!!!

Still Breathing

Hellurei, vähän on ollu taukoa postailussa. Aika menee nopeesti, eikä mitään hirmu kiinnostavaakaan oo tapahtunu. Tai ainakaan kuvia ei ole. Sellasta peruskyläily meininkiä on ollu muutamana päivänä ja erittäin paljon leffankatsomis koti-iltoja. :D Tässä kuitenkin asukuvaa. Tais olla toissalauantailta kun oli yhet partyt.

Hello! It's has been a while since I posted anything. Time goes so quickly and nothing very interesting has not happened lately. Or I don't have many pictures. We've been meeting friends and spending quiet evenings watching movies. :D Here's some pictures of my clothing. On last Saturday when we had this little party.

Bargains and Tiredness

Päätin nyt uudistaa blogiani sen verran, että kirjotan mukaan tiivistelmän myös enkuksi, jotta muutkin ymmärtävät. :)
So I decided to renew my blog with English text, so those who don't understand Finnish could read my texts. :)

Oscareitten jälkeen on lievästi ollut zombeiluolo... Tulihan sillon kahen vuorokauden aikana nukuttua muutama hassu tunti... Mutta tiistaina pääsin jo ulos asti ja päädyin yllätys yllätys shoppailemaan! Tällä kertaa onnistuin kuitenkin ostamaan pelkkiä hyödykkeitä (melkein).
After the Academy Awards I've been so dead.. I slept a grand total of couple of hours in 48 hours.. But on Tuesday I managed to get out and ended up shopping! This time, though, I bought only useful stuff (almost).

Ekassa kuvassa komeilee hieno pikkusiivilä! Nyt on esim tomusokerin sirottelu torttujen päälle huomattavasti helpompaa kuin isolla siivilällä. :D
In this first picture is my brand new sieve. Now it's much easier to powder icing sugar than with the big one. :D



Löysin ehkä söpöimmän juuresharjan, jonka saa pujotettua sormen ympärille, että ote säilyy. Nyt pitää vaan alkaa syömään pestäviä juureksia enemmän...
I also found the cutest root vegetable brush. Now I should start eating vegetables more...



Tiskiharja on pitäny ostaa jo kauan kun edelliset räjähtää käsiin. Löysin maailman söpöimmän värisiä harjoja, ja kun en osannu päättää, minkä värisen ostan, ostin kolme. Riittääpähän vähäksi aikaa. J:llä oli hauskaa kun näki kaikki roikkumassa vierekkäin. :P
For a long time now I've been meaning to buy a dishbrush. I found the most beautifully colored dishbrushes and couldn't decide which color was the cutest, so I bought three of them... J was laughing when he saw all of them hanging there side by side. :P



Alelaatikosta löysin älyttömän hauskan kirjan, jossa on lueteltu ja selostettu moderneita fobioita. Tästä riittää hupia pitkäksi aikaa! (Siellä on mm. pelko siitä, että kuolaa junassa nukkuessaan; pelko että puhuu liian kovaa kun kuuntelee musiikkia; pelko siitä, että korkealla paikalla ollessaan päättääkin yhtäkkiä hypätä (tämän kyseisen fobian omistan!) ja vanhuudenhöperöksi tulemisen pelko.)
I found this hilarious book on sale. It contains modern phobias such as the fear of talking too loud when your listening to music. etc.



Napsasin kuvan myös aikaisemmin ostamastani maailmanihanimmasta käsirasvasta. Koko alkukevään on nyt ollut kädet kuin vauvanpylly! :)
And here's the most wonderful handcreme ever made. It makes my hands so soft! :)

I bought some movies, heres a few of them.







Klassikoita siis. Paitsi tuo Arn, jonka ostin J:lle lahjaksi. Nyt meillä on ne molemmat :)
Classics. Except for that Arn, which I bought for J as a gift. Now we have both of them. :)



J:n sisko kävi Madeiralla ja saatiin tuliaisiksi pari passionfantaa (millonka nää tulee Suomeen! Ihan sairaan hyvää!!!) ja konvehtirasia. Molemmat tuliaiset on jo tuhottu. ^^

J's sister wisited Madeira and we got some passion fruit Fantas (when do these come to Finland, they taste so good!!!) and some chocolates.

Että sellasia ostoksia. Ostin myös pari - tai kolme - muistivihkoa sekä ihanan kortin, josta napsasen myöhemmin kuvan.

The 83rd Academy Awards

Nyt vihdoin teen tän Oscar-postauksen niin päästään elämässä eteenpäin! :D Eipä tässä paljoa sanoja tarvita, fiilistellään vaan kuvilla. Samalla kun kirjotan taustalla soi 127 tuntia-elokuvan soundtrack. Ois tää ennemmin ansainnu kyl Oscarin ku Social Network... :S

Now finally I'll finish this Academy Awards post. I think we don't need too many words, the pictures can do the work and create the right atmosphere. While writing, I'm listening to the soundtrack of the movie 127 Hours. I prefer this to Social Network which won the Original Score Award...



Tässä komeilee askartelemani Oscar-vihko, johonka tarkotuksena olis tallentaa monen vuoden gaalat kuvineen. Huonompi juttu on se, että tähän mennessä jokainen askarreltu sivu on lähtenyt irti ja teipattu takasin kiinni, eli vihko on todellakin "itse tehty" :D

Here's my self-made Academy Award notebook. There is listing of all the nominees and some pictures of them also. Too bad every page I've written something has fallen off and I taped them back so it's really "home made" :D



Oli aika yllättävää, ettei Biutiful voittanu parhaan ulkomaalaisen elokuvan Oscaria. Onhan siinä kuiteski Javier Bardem!

It was suprising that Biutiful didn't win the Award for the Foreign Language Film. There was Javier Bardem!



Mutta tästä tykkäsin, että Kuninkaan puhe sai neljä Oscaria sisältäen parhaan elokuvan, ohjauksen ja Colin Firthin!!! Mr. Darcy For The Win!!!

This was something I liked alot! King's Speech got four awards including, best picture, directing and Colin Firth!




Mutta tietty James Francon puolesta harmittaa... :( En oikeen tajunnu myöskään, ettei 127 tuntia voittanu mistään mitään... :S

But ofcourse I'm sad for James Franco... It's also amazing that 127 Hours didn't win anything...



Herkkuja oli asiaankuuluvasti läsnä.

Ajanvietteenä toimi veikkauslista, johonka laitettiin omat ehdokkaat ja lopuks merkattiin, ketkä voitti, sekä Oscar bingo. :D

We made list of all the nominees where you could put your own favourite and the real winners. And we hade Oscar-Bingo :D

Viimeisiä fiilistelyjä nukkumaan mennessä. (Yksi uinuja löytyykin sohvalta) Nukuttiin siis kokonaiset kolme tuntia, kunnes herättiin keittämään lisää espressoa ja valvottiin seuraava päivä. Mutta kyllä se kannatti muutama päivä uhrata palautumiseen kun ilta(yö) oli niin mahtava! En jaksa odottaa ens vuotta!

Last feelings before going to bed. (One sleepy person is on the couch) We slept a grand total of three hours until we wake up and made some espresso. Really wise etc. But the night was really worth sacrificing a couple of days to recover. It was amazing! I can't wait for next year!
